The Off the Road Car Volkanis are coming into the NFL this year.
The Jaguars announced on Thursday that the Volkani-based off-roading team will play its first game against the Cleveland Browns on October 17th at EverBank Field in Atlanta.
The Volkanic Volkanists are known for their high-speed, off-the-rack antics, which have earned them an uncanny knack for making headlines in the off-season.
The Jaguars will take on the Browns in the Volkotaroff Championship, a non-conference game that takes place on the Friday before the NFL season.
The league has been a fan favorite since the NFL introduced the game back in 1995.
This season, the Jaguars are one of only two teams to have a game that has sold out.
This season, Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley is looking to take the Volka off-ramp to the next level.
In addition to the Volkas and Browns, the Jacksonville Jaguars also have a pair of off-ballers in defensive tackle Dejong and linebacker Derrick Nwachukwu.
Both of those players will play their first NFL games this season, and they’re looking to build on their impressive careers in Jacksonville.
Dejong started at defensive tackle for the Volkers this past season and recorded 10 tackles, one sack and two passes defensed.
Nwachuwu played linebacker for the Jaguars in 2014 and started three games for the defense.
He recorded eight tackles, two tackles for loss, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.
Both players are signed to contracts through the 2021 season, which would give them the potential to earn multiple All-Pro berths, as well as potentially a spot on the Pro Bowl team.
