A two-year-old car with two people inside has run off the road and crashed in a wooded area off the side of a road in South Florida.
The car, a 2014 Hyundai Sonata, was found Thursday morning in the driveway of a home in the 400 block of Woodside Avenue in Kissimmee.
The car is believed to have been stolen, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
A second car with a man and a woman inside is also believed to be stolen, the sheriff’s office said.
An off-roader who was traveling east on Woodside at about 8:40 a.m.
Sunday got out of the car and found the woman and the man still inside the car.
The driver of the off-ramp jumped out of his car and called 911, the Sheriff’s office reported.
The victim, whose name was not released, was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, according the sheriff.
“A male and female were able to get inside the vehicle,” said Palm Beach Gardens Fire Rescue Deputy Chief Chris Miller.
Miller said the man had minor injuries, and the woman was treated for minor injuries.
The man and woman are believed to remain at large.
On Sunday, Miller said a woman told him she was a member of the Sonata’s owner’s family.
The owner’s father and stepmother live in the home.
