Dejong off road cars have been around for years, and now they are coming to the real world.
The concept is called Smart Cara, and the off- road cars are on display at the Dejong Motor Show in Japan.
It’s a new line of off-roads vehicles that can be used for off-highway travel, but it’s still unclear what they will be used in.
“The cars are still very much in the design phase, but we’re looking forward to the world first,” Dejong co-founder Hiroshi Yamaguchi told Business Insider.
The cars can be bought for a few hundred dollars, but will cost upwards of $20,000 to build.
The vehicles will have some basic features like folding rear wheels, air bags, and an ABS system.
They’ll also be capable of traveling at least 100 kilometers per hour, which would be a record for a motorcycle or a crossover, but is less than what some off–road vehicles can reach.
Dejong is a Japanese company that designs vehicles to be used by people in remote areas and rural areas, but Dejong’s goal is to expand into the real estate industry.
“There is a lot of interest in building off-the-road.
We are looking forward for our first off-Road Vehicles to be in the marketplace,” Yamaguch said.
The off-reservation market in the United States is estimated at $30 billion.
De Jong plans to launch at least five vehicles to date, and expects to produce another six or seven by the end of 2019.
