LAX, Calif.
— A smart cara was seen being towed away from a crash site after it ran off the road, according to an eyewitness report posted by local news site Vice News.
The car was driving down the runway of the Boeing 737 MAX MAX at the Los Angeles International Airport on Saturday, when the vehicle lost control and hit a taxi and a fire hydrant, according the report.
It then ran off of the runway, the witness said.
Several people were on the ground when the car was towed, according a video uploaded by the video sharing app Vimeo.
“I was sitting in the cab and the car started rolling.
I turned around and saw this car was in the middle of the road,” a witness named Christopher said.
“The guy was yelling and screaming and yelling.
He just started pulling up.
It was a big accident.”
Christopher said he then got out of his car to help the man get the car back into the taxi.
After getting the car in the back of the cab, he helped the man onto a vehicle to pick up the injured person, he said.
