Volvo’s V60 Supercar is a fantastic off-roader and it has a supercar feel to it, but it’s also got a bit of a bad reputation for being the best off-the-shelf off-Road car on the market.
That’s partly because it’s a premium model that comes with a $5,400 price tag.
So, let’s talk about why that’s the case.
Let’s start with Volvo’s premium premium offering.
The V60 gets all the supercar touches that you’d expect from a Volvo, including a supercharger, superchargers, all-wheel drive, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, rear-mounted infotainment system, and a rear spoiler.
The interior is also top-notch, with a fully-adjustable leather steering wheel and a heated steering column.
The suspension is stiff, with adjustable dampers and coilovers.
There’s also a 4.5-liter V12 engine and a 4-speed automatic transmission that’s paired with Volvo Traction Control.
The car has a 5-speed manual gearbox, but you’ll find that you can also get a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic.
The base price for the V60 starts at $56,900, and you can get it with a choice of three different wheels and tires.
The new model is available in a range of colors, including black, white, and red, and it also comes with an 18-inch wheelset.
In terms of performance, we like Volvo’s supercar-like look, so we’re not sure if the supercars offered by Volvo are as good off- the-sheld as the Volkods, but that doesn’t mean they’re not a solid, capable, and comfortable car.
The only downside to the super car is that it’s quite a bit more expensive than a Volvo Volkoda.
So while it’s certainly worth the premium price, it might not be the most practical off- road car.
Volvo’s VolkODava model is the premium off-board supercar that you probably want to own.
