KTM and Suzuki Motor Corp. will be building a new off-roading car based on the RWD version of the KTM R12S Turbo that will go into production in 2019, according to a new report.
The new KTM RX-S-Works is due to be produced in two variants with the R12 Turbo in the standard RWD configuration and the R13S Turbo in a two-door RWD variant.
The KTM RS-Zero version will also go into the production line, according the report, which cited KTM executive vice president of product design, Ralf Neugebauer.
The two variants will be produced under license to a Japanese manufacturer.
The RX-series RX-R10 is an off-pavement car that will be offered in Europe and North America.
KTM plans to launch a new RX-X10 variant based on this RWD model.
The company will also be producing the KX-R100, which is an S-Wagon that is designed for off- and on-road use, as well as the KZ-R125, which has an offroad capability.
